Preparation for Your Erasmus+ Meeting in Høyanger, Norway

 


We are excited to welcome you to Høyanger, Norway, for our Erasmus+ international meeting from March 16th to March 20th! To ensure that you get the most out of this experience, we ask you to come prepared by researching important topics related to change and conflict in energy—the key theme of our project: "Europe’s Resource Dilemma: Energy, Minerals and the Green Transition"

Before your arrival, we ask you to  explore the following questions about your home region and country:

  1. Energy and Industry: Different types, What is popular or used in your region

  2. Minerals and the Green Transition: New technology requires minerals to supply its own demands for production and more. what does this mean for your generation and those to come?

  3. Circular Economy and Future Solutions: What does it mean to be sustainable in an ever changing market in developing industries?

Why This Matters

Your insights will shape our discussions and activities throughout the week. By understanding the realities in each participating country—Norway, the Basque Country, Denmark, Italy, and Germany—we can compare perspectives, identify common challenges, and brainstorm ideas for a more sustainable energy future.

How to Prepare? Find your group, and research more!

  • Research: Read articles, watch videos, or listen to podcasts about energy policies and challenges in your country.
  • Talk to others: Ask teachers, parents, or local experts for their views.
  • Take notes: Be ready to share your findings during group discussions and activities.

A central aim of the Erasmus+ collaboration is to explore shared challenges and opportunities in Europe.
